<br /> <br />MEETING OF THE CITY COUNCIL <br />CITY HALL <br />6801 Delmar Blvd. <br />City of University City, Missouri 63130 <br />October 22, 2012 <br />6:30 p.m. <br /> <br />At the Regular Session of the City Council of University City held on the fifth floor of City Hall, <br />on Monday, October 22, 2012, Mayor Shelley Welsch called the meeting to order at 6:30 p.m. <br />In addition to the Mayor, the following members of the Council were present: <br /> <br />Mr. Byron Price <br />Ms. Paulette Carr <br />Mr. Stephen Kraft <br />Mr. Terry Crow <br />Mr. Michael Glickert <br />Mr. Arthur Sharpe, Jr. <br /> <br />Also in attendance was the City Manager Lehman Walker. <br /> <br />C. APPROVAL OF AGENDA <br />Mr. Walker requested that Council remove the Roll Call vote to go into a closed meeting. <br />He also stated the City Clerk distributed all the other agenda item changes to Council <br />earlier in City Council Study Session. <br /> <br />Mayor Welsch stated that Mr. Robert Kuhlman would be sworn in later in the City Clerk’s <br />office. <br /> <br />Mr. Sharpe moved for approval of the agenda as amended was seconded by Mr. Glickert <br />and the motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />D. PROCLAMATIONS <br />Mayor Welsch presented a proclamation for Extra Mile Day that will be observed on <br />November 1, 2012. <br /> <br />E. APPROVAL OF MINUTES <br />1. <br /> The minutes of October 8, 2012, City Council Study Session were moved for approval <br />by Mr. Sharpe, seconded by Ms. Carr and the motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />2. <br /> The minutes of October 8, 2012, City Council Regular Session were moved for <br />approval by Mr. Sharpe, seconded by Mr. Glickert and the motion carried <br />unanimously. <br /> <br />F. APPOINTMENTS <br />1. <br /> Mr. Crow nominated Steve McMahon to the Pension Board, was seconded by Mr. <br />Glickert and the motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />2. <br /> Mr. Crow nominated Laura Hamlett to the CALOP Commission, was seconded by Ms. <br />Carr and the motion carried unanimously. <br />1 <br /> <br /> <br />
