<br />Draft Meeting Minutes  University City Green Practices Commission <br />November 8, 2012 <br />Location: Heman Park Community Center <br />Attendees: Jerry Breakstone, Lynnette Hicks, Jeffrey Mishkin, Neville Rapp, Lois Sechrist, <br />Michael Glickert and Helen Fuller <br />Absent: Diane Benjamin and Tim Michels <br />Guest: Doug Campion, Campion Group,Project Manager, Dave Gnaegy, Landscape <br />Architect, CH2M Hill and Laura Glasser, Electrical Engineer, CH2M Hill <br />1.Roll Call at 6:00 p.m. <br />2.Opening Round: <br />a.Neville Rapp  Attended workshop on Sustainability at Washington University on <br />November 1 & 2. <br />b.Jerry Breakstone  Had nothing to report <br />c.Helen Fuller Had nothing to report <br />d.Lois Sechrist  Had nothing to report <br />e.Jeff Mishkin  Had nothing to report <br />f.LynnetteHicks Had nothing to report <br />g.Michael Glickert Had nothing to report <br /> <br />3.Administrative items: Approval of Draft Minutes from October 11, 2012  approved as <br />corrected. <br /> <br />4.Special Presentations: Doug Campion, Campion Group and Project Manager and his team, Dave <br />Gnaegy, Landscape Architect, CH2M and Laura Glasser, Electrical Engineer, CH2M, presented <br />the plans for the Trolley Roundabout which is to be installed at <br />Loop. The Trolley Project, which is funded by an Urban Circulator gran <br />forward according to schedule. It is anticipated that construction will last for 10-12 months. <br /> <br />a.The Commission would like to see the project team working with U City in Bloom <br />planting and grass selections for the landscaping part of the project. Would generally like to see <br />all native plantings and no turf grass; however, UCIB should mak <br />view of Civic Plaza should be maintained and not diminished by n <br />unsightly and requiring extra maintenance by UCIB. <br /> <br />
