Session 1761 <br />July 26, 1999 <br /> <br /> The bill was given its first reading and assigned bill number 8437. <br /> The bill was given its second reading. <br /> The bill was given its third reading. <br /> <br />Mr. Sharpe moved adoption. Mr. Schoomer seconded the motion. The roll call vote <br />was as follows: AYES: Mr. Munkel, Mr. Lieberman, Mr. Schoomer, Mr. Sharpe, Ms. <br />Colquitt, Mayor Adams. NAYS: none. Bill Number 8437 passed and became <br />Ordinance Number 6212. <br /> <br />2. A bill was introduced by Mr. Schoomer, entitled: <br /> <br />AN ORDINANCE APPROVING AN AGREEMENT BETWEEN UNIVERSITY CITY <br />AND NEXTLINK MISSOURI, INC., FOR THE NONEXCLUSIVE RIGHT TO <br />CONSTRUCT, MAINTAIN AND REMOVE ITS TELECOMMUNICATIONS <br />FACILITIES UNDER THE PUBLIC WAYS; AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER <br />TO EXECUTE THE AGREEMENT ON BEHALF OF THE CITY; AND <br />CONTAINING AN EMERGENCY CLAUSE. <br /> <br />The bill was given its first reading and assigned bill number 8438. <br />The bill was given its second reading. <br />The bill was given its third reading. <br /> <br />Mr. Munkel moved adoption. Mr. Lieberman seconded the motion. The roll call vote <br />was as follows: AYES: Mr. Lieberman, Mr. Schoomer, Mr. Sharpe, Ms. Colquitt, Mr. <br />Munkel, Mayor Adams. NAYS: none. Bill Number 8438 passed and became <br />Ordinance Number 6213. <br /> <br />Mr. Munkel stated that he had a problem with some of the incongruencies in Bill <br />Number 8436 and he would like to work with the City Manager and staff on some <br />possible changes. He will send his suggestions forward during the next week or so. <br /> <br />EXECUTIVE SESSION: <br /> <br />Mr. Schoomer moved to go into a shod executive session personnel reasons at 8:00 <br />p.m. in the second floor conference room. Mr. Sharpe seconded the motion. The roll <br />call vote was as follows: AYES: Ms. Colquitt, Mr. Munkel, Mr. Lieberman, Mr. <br />Schoomer, Mr. Sharpe, Mayor Adams. NAYS: none. <br /> <br />8 <br /> <br /> <br />
