Update to City Council on FY 2012 – 2013 Budget Items.
Mr. Walker said there were several items that Council identified and staff provided
information with a revision regarding the Civic Plaza Consultant, which should be
$15,000, not $10,000 because $15,000 was approved in the budget.

Ms. Carr asked for Point of Clarification as she understood the money proposed was
aimed towards the evaluation of the annex, not necessary 630 Trinity as well. Ms.
Carr wanted to make sure there were funds available to do the annex first because that
is where the police are presently housed and there might be considerations down the
road to move them out of the annex into a new police station.

Mr. Walker said since the City was going to hire a consultant, all of the buildings in the
Civic Plaza should be looked at and if cost would not cover, he would return to Council
for additional funds.

Mr. Crow asked if the Loop area parking was an update and if it would come back to
Council if they decided to move forward.

Mr. Walker said it was an update and they would come forward with a report from parks
and public works on the various options to be considered.

L.
