Session 1764 <br /> <br /> MINUTES OF THE UNIVERSITY CITY COUNCIL <br /> <br /> August 30, 1999 <br /> <br />At a regular meeting of the City Council of University City held in the Council Chambers <br />of City Hall on Monday, August 30, 1999, Mayor Joseph L. Adams called the meeting to <br />order at 7:30 p.m. In addition to the Mayor, the following members of the Council were <br />present: <br /> <br /> Ms. Cassandra Colquitt <br /> Mr. Wayne I. Munkel <br /> Mr. Robert Wagner <br /> Mr. Larry Lieberman <br /> Mr. Paul Schoomer <br /> Mr. Arthur Sharpe, Jr. <br /> <br />Also present was City Manager Frank Ollendorff. <br /> <br />MINUTES: <br /> <br />Mr. Sharpe moved approval of the regular session minutes from August 16, 1999. Mr. <br />Schoomer seconded the motion, which carried unanimously. <br /> <br />CITY MANAGER'S REPORTS: <br /> <br />Mr. Schoomer moved to add the Salt Bid to the consent calendar. Mr. Sharpe <br />seconded the motion, which carried unanimously. <br /> <br />AGENDA #1 - CONSENT CALENDAR (5 ITEMS): <br /> <br />#1 - Carpet for Public Works and Parks Departments: Invitations for Bid were <br />sent to three local carpeting companies. The following bids were received: <br /> <br /> Colonial Carpet ..................... $18,150.00 <br /> Interface Flooring Systems ............ $12,245.00 <br /> <br /> Budget Estimate ................... $17,000.00 <br /> <br />Mr. Ollendorff recommends accepting Interface Flooring System's bid of <br />$:~2,245.00. <br /> <br />#2 - Tree and Brush Removal on Redevelopment Lot at Northwest Corner of Olive <br />Blvd. and North & South Road: Invitations for Bids were issued to five companies <br /> <br /> <br />
