City Fire Department: Members of the University City Fire Department request permission to conduct their annual charitable solicitation in front of Grandpas and Schnucks over the Labor Day weekend. The proceeds are contributed to the Muscular Dystrophy Association. Members of our department have been conducting this activity for many years with good success. #4 - Animal Control Vehicle: Bids for purchasing a new vehicle have been received. Cargill Inc. Central Salt, Inc. Morton Salt Div. Gunther Salt Co. International Salt Co. $16.86 per ton $16.99 per ton $18.62 per ton $20.00 per ton $29.75 per ton No Bid Mr. Ollendorff recommends purchase from IMC Salt at a total cost of $25,290. The price is slightly less than last year.
