Session 1766 <br />October 4, 1999 <br /> <br /> SUNDAY," THEREBY AMENDING SAID SECTION SO AS TO PERMIT <br /> RESTAURANT BARS TO SELL INTOXICATING LIQUOR BY THE DRINK AT <br /> RETAIL FOR CONSUMPTION ON THE PREMISES BETWEEN ELEVEN A.M. <br /> AND MIDNIGHT ON SUNDAY; CONTAINING A SAVING CLAUSE AND <br /> PROVIDING A PENALTY. <br /> <br />The bill was given its first reading and assigned number 8442. <br /> <br />MISCELLANEOUS: <br /> <br />Mr. Munkel wished the minutes to reflect that the Council received a copy of the minutes <br />for the public hearing on the Community Block Grant Hearing which was held on October <br />7, 1999. This should notify citizens that a public hearing did take place regarding this <br />subject and they had an opportunity to give input. <br /> <br />Responding to Mr. Lieberman, Mr. Ollendorff said that he is pretty sure that the equipment <br />that will be used for the Leaf pickup contract will be a vacuum hose system, but he will <br />check on it and get back with him. Mr. Lieberman commented that the vacuum system <br />does a better job and was more maneuverable. <br /> <br />ADJOURNMENT: <br /> <br />Mayor Adams adjourned the regular session at 8:05 p.m. and that the next meeting would <br />be held on the 18th of October at 7:30 p.m. <br /> <br />a K.
