Even if this Commission has a rousing applause, this commission is not responsible for what <br />happens in the Civic Plaza. <br /> <br />Commissioner Brot moved in favor of the construction of the roundabout at the intersection of Delmar <br />Blvd. and Trinity Ave., which includes the reduction of the speed limit to 15 MPH only at the <br />roundabout, Commissioner Wofsey seconded, and unanimously approved. <br /> <br />Commissioner Wofsey moved that the commission recommend the City Council to approve the <br />reduction of the speed limit on Delmar Blvd. from Trinity Avenue (east of roundabout) to the east City <br />limits to 20 MPH. The motion was seconded by Commissioner Blalock, and unanimously approved. <br /> <br />Commissioner Henderson presented the following item: <br /> <br />34 parking spaces will be eliminated and 10 spaces added with a net loss of 24 parking spaces within <br />University City, from the 34 parking spaces, 9 parking spaces are to be eliminated East of Kingsland <br />the project should provide 9 new parking spaces in the Loop area. <br /> <br />Commissioner Wofsey moved that the project be required to provide nine (9) new parking spaces in <br />the Loop area, the motion was seconded by Commissioner Brot, and unanimously approved. <br /> <br />Mr. Wilson talked about Level of Service – how traffic flows along a road. A copy of the Level of <br />Service handout was provided to all commissioners for their records. <br /> <br />4.
