SESSION 1692 <br /> <br /> MINUTES OF THE UNIVERSITY CITY COUNCIL <br /> <br /> APRIL 14, 1997 <br /> <br />At a regular meeting of the City Council of University City held in the Council Chamber of City Hall on Monday, April 14, <br />1997, Mayor Joseph/. Adams called the meeting to order at 7:30 p.m. In addition to the Hayor, the following members of <br />the Council were present: <br /> <br /> Mr. Hardy Ware <br /> Hr. Wayne I. Hunkel <br /> Mr. Robert G. Wagner <br /> Mr. lawrence kieberman <br /> Mr. Paul F. Schoomer <br /> Mrs. Betty Thompson <br /> <br />Also present was City Manager Frank Ollendong. <br /> <br />MINUTES <br /> <br />Mr. Wagner moved approval of the March 24th regular meeting minutes. Mr. Munkel seconded and all votedaye. <br />Mr. Schoomer moved approval of the April I st special meeting minutes. Mr. Wagner seconded and all voted aye. <br />CERTIFICATION OF APRIL I, 1997 ELECTION: <br /> <br />According to Article IX, of the City Charter, notification s~ras received from the Board of Election Commissioners of St. Louis <br />County showing the results of the municipal election held on Tuesday, April I, 1997 to be as follows: <br /> <br /> Hardy Ware Councilmember, Third Ward 602 Votes <br /> <br />Mrs. Thompson moved approval of the certification fo the election results. Mr. Schoomer seconded and all voted aye. <br />^I~OURNMENT - SINE DIE: <br /> <br />Mr. Munkel moved that the Council, consisting of Mayor Adams and Councilmembers Ware, Munkel, Wagner, Lieberman, <br />Schoomer and Thompson, be adjourned sine die. Mr. Wagner seconded the motion, which carried unanimously. <br /> <br />OATHS OF OFFICE: <br /> <br />In a brief ceremony, the City Clerk administered the Oath of O~ce to Councilmember Ware. There was a round of <br />applause. <br /> <br />Mayor Adams called the meeting to order. In addition to the Mayor, the roll call vote showed the following <br />Councilmembers to be present: <br /> <br /> Mr. Hardy Ware <br /> Mr. Wayne I. Munkel <br /> Mr. Robert G. Wagner <br /> Mr. Lawrence Lieberman <br /> Mr. Paul E. Schoomer <br /> Mrs. Betty Thompson <br /> <br /> <br />
