Session 1692, Minutes April 14, 1997 Mr. Wagner moved adoption. Mr. Schoomer seconded the motion. The roll call vote was as follows: AYES: Ware, Munkel, Wagner, I ieberman, Schoomer, Thompson and Mayor Adams. NAYS: none Bill No. 8319 became Ordinance No. 6102. BILL NO. 8320 - AMENDING CHAPTER 21 OF THE MUNICIPAL CODE, RELATING TO MOTOR VEHICLES AND TRAFFIC, BY REPEALING SECTION 21-82 THEREOF, RELATING TO STOP INTERSECTIONS, AND ENACTING IN LIEU THEREOF A NEW SECTION TO BE KNOWN AS "SECTION 21-82. STOP INTERSECTIONS," BY AMENDING SAID SECTION SO AS TO ESTABLISH STOP SIGNS AT THE INTERSECTION OF DARTMOUTH AND PURDUE AVENUES AND TULANE AND PURDUE AVENUES; CONTAINING A SAVING CLAUSE AND PROVIDING A PENALTY. The bill was given its second reading. Mr. Ollendorffsaid that requests have been received since this bill was drawn up and introduced to add stop signs in two other private subdivisions. The City Attorney thought it would be easier to dralt a new bill for the next meeting, other than trying to amend this bill. The new bill at the next meeting will include a stop sign at Parkview Subdivision and two stop signs in University Heights #3. The bill was given its third reading. Mr. Schoomer moved adoption. BILLS FOR INTRODUCTION: Bill Number 8322. A bill was introduced by Councilmember Munkel, entitled: "AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 34 OF THE MUNICIPAL CODE OF THE CITY OF UNIVERSITY CITY, AS COMPREHENSIVELY AMENDED OCTOBER 19, 1970, BY ORDINANCE NO. 4591, BY CHANGING THE CLASSIFICATION OF CERTAIN PROPERTY HEREINAFTER DESCRIBED, AT OR NEAR 1525 NORTH AND SOUTH FROM "LC" - LIMITED COMMERCIAL DISTRICT, TO "SR" - SINGLE FAMILY RESIDENTIAL DISTRICT, AS SET FORTH IN SECTION 34-9 OF THE MUNICIPAL CODE, BEING THE UNIVERSITY CITY ZONING CODE. The bill was given its first reading. F'X:ECUTIVE SESSION Mr. Wagner moved that the Council meet in executive session at 8:15 p.m. in Room 6 of City Hall to discuss personnel and real estate matters.
