stated the dog park has two components: small dog park and large dog park. Mr. <br />Glickert noted that the dogs do not have to be on a leash in the park and there are over <br />600 dogs registered for the park. He said this park was a great ambassador to the <br />community because half of the dogs are from some other community. <br /> <br />Mr. Kraft stated he was at the pool the past weekend and it looked great, the changing <br />room was coming along and the water was real cold. <br /> <br />Mr. Crow also noted on the public hearing issue as it did raise a number of concerns <br />about the timing of that particular hearing. He also congratulated his colleagues Mr. <br />Sharpe, Mr. Price and Ms. Carr for receiving the School District Superintendent’s Choice <br />award at the retiring awards dinner for the U City Public Schools. Mr. Crow stated to the <br />City Manager that he hoped they could move forward and ask his colleagues how <br />Council addresses the parliamentary issues which may be something the new City <br />Attorney would like to assist them with. <br /> <br />Ms. Carr also requested to make all public hearings be scheduled for the evening. She <br />congratulated Mr. Crow who also was a recipient of the Superintendent’s Choice award <br />and thought the Council was well represented. Ms. Carr asked everyone driving the <br />roundabout to let her know how much fun it was or how much fun it was not. She said <br />she did not have a tipping point yet and wanted to see how it would work. She thanked <br />Mr. Wilson for being so fore-bearing during the whole process. <br /> <br />Mayor Welsch referenced Mr. Kraft’s comments reminding everyone that Heman Park <br />pool is open. She encouraged everyone to pick up a pool pass at Centennial Commons <br />and to be sure to bring a proof of residency in order to get the resident rate. Mayor <br />Welsch noted University City High graduation would be Thursday and congratulated all <br />University City students who are graduating this year, including her daughter Madeleine. <br /> <br />Q.
