The committee wants this session to be an open give- and-take with <br />professionals present to answer questions. The meeting would have an added <br />benefit of bringing the bike/walk plan to the attention of even more residents and the <br />Chair of the Plan Commission stressed that it would not be a meeting of <br />procrastination. <br />3. Boards, Commissions and Task Force Minutes <br />4. Other Discussions/Business <br /> <br />Mr. Price stated that if anyone notices high overgrowth on vacant lots to report it to the <br />City. He said to the City Manager that any City staff that notices high overgrowth should <br />be sure to report it. <br /> <br />M. UNFINISHED BUSINESS <br /> <br />BILLS <br />1. BILL 9181 <br /> - An ordinance amending various sections of Chapter 10, vehicles and <br />traffic, to revise various traffic regulations as provided herein. <br /> <br />Mr. Glickert moved to approve Bill 9181 and was seconded by Ms. Carr. <br /> <br />Roll Call vote was: <br />AYES: Mr. Price, Ms. Carr, Mr. Kraft, Mr. Crow, Mr. Glickert, Mr. Sharpe and Mayor <br />Welsch <br />NAYS: none <br /> <br />Bill 9181 carried unanimously and became Ordinance 6914. <br /> <br />N NEW BUSINESS <br />RESOLUTIONS <br />1. <br />Resolution 2013 – 6 Approval of University City’s Fiscal Year 2014 budget <br /> <br />Mr. Sharpe introduced resolution 2013 – 6 and was seconded by Mr. Kraft. <br /> <br />Ms. Carr stated she was not ready to vote of FY 14 budget and its approval was a <br />month ahead of time. She moved to amend the motion to postpone the vote of <br />Resolution 2013 – 6, until the next meeting. <br /> <br />Mr. Kraft stated Ms. Carr’s motion could not be an amendment but should rather be a <br />motion which overruled the motion to approve. <br /> <br />Ms. Carr stated she moved to postpone the vote of Resolution 2013 – 6 until the next <br />Council meeting and was seconded by Mr. Glickert <br /> <br />Mr. Price asked by delaying it for two weeks; what would that give them. <br /> <br />Mr. Glickert stated that a member of Council asked through an amendment which he <br />seconded to open up discussion. He stated a colleague requested a little more time to <br />fully digest the budget. <br /> <br />8 <br /> <br /> <br />
