<br /> Elsie Glickert, 6712 Etzel <br />Ms. Glickert spoke on the eighty-year-old Heman Pool bath house. She noted the <br />showers need upgrading with water hot/cold mixer valves for the showers. Ms. Glickert <br />also noted the painted concrete floor is extremely dangerous when wet. She hoped that <br />some money would be put in the budget so it can be fixed at the end of this pool season. <br />Ms. Glickert said the stucco on the outside needed to be looked at and the building <br />needed to be painted. <br /> <br />I. CITY MANAGER’S REPORT <br />1. <br />Kaufman Park tennis courts improvements, staff recommended award to <br />McConnell’s of St. Louis, Inc. for $38,925.00 <br />Mr. Glickert moved to approve the award to McConnell’s of St. Louis, Inc. for <br />$38,925.00 and was seconded by Mr. Sharpe. <br /> <br />Mr. Crow asked if the money for this project was coming out of the Fiscal Year 2013 <br />budget. Mr. Walker said it was. <br /> <br />Ms. Carr asked if it was coming out of the Park Maintenance 2013 budget. Mr. <br />Walker agreed that it was coming out of that budget. <br /> <br />The motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />2. <br />Automated side load refuse vehicle, staff recommended award to Truck Component <br />Services for $228,519.00. <br />Mr. Price moved for approval of the award to Truck Component Services for <br />$228,519.00, was seconded by Mr. Sharpe and the motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />3. <br />Approval of Change Order No. 1, sidewalk and curb replacement from SBC <br />Contracting, Inc. for $80,250.00. <br />Mr. Glickert moved for approval of Change Order No. 1 for sidewalk and curb <br />replacement from SBC Contracting, Inc., for $80,250.00, was seconded by Mr. Kraft <br />and the motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />4. <br />Wheel loader staff recommended award to Luby Equipment Services for <br />$157,850.00. <br />Mr. Sharpe moved for approval of a wheel loader to be awarded to Luby Equipment <br />Services for $157,850.00, was seconded by Mr. Glickert and the motion carried <br />unanimously. <br /> <br />5. <br />Conditional Use Permit (C.U.P.) application for 7531-7547 Olive Blvd, <br />MERS/Goodwill, c/o Cochran Engineering in GC – General Commercial district. <br /> <br />2 <br /> <br /> <br />
