APPOINTMENTS <br /> Ms. Carr thanked Caryn St. Clair for her many long years of service to the Park <br />Commission. <br />1. <br /> Ms. Carr nominated Kathleen Standley to be appointed to the Park Commission, <br />replacing Caryn St. Clair, was seconded by Mr. Sharpe and the motion carried <br />unanimously. <br /> <br />2. <br />Mayor Welsch nominated Dennis Finnegan to be appointed to the CALOP <br />Commission, replacing Rick Simoncelli, was seconded by Mr. Glickert and the motion <br />carried unanimously. <br /> <br />3. <br /> Mr. Sharpe nominated Harold Williams to be appointed to the Library Board, replacing <br />Thelma Serena Jones, was seconded by Mr. Glickert and the motion carried <br />unanimously. <br /> <br />G. SWEARING IN <br />1. <br />Angelene Hayes was sworn in to the Human Relations Commission. <br />2. <br />Curtis Tunstall was sworn in to the Traffic Commission. <br />3. <br />William Person was sworn in to the Board of Appeals. <br />4. <br />Jeffrey Hales, Jr. was sworn into the Traffic Commission in the City Clerk’s office <br /> <br />H. CITIZEN PARTICIPATION (Total of 15 minutes allowed) <br /> Ms. Elsie Glickert, 6712 Etzel <br /> Ms. Glickert spoke on behalf of the Sutter-Meyer Society and invited the <br />Councilmembers and everyone in attendance to the Sutter-Meyer Society Annual <br />Membership meeting at the Julia Goldstein Center on Kingsland Avenue, Monday, May <br />6, 2013, at 7:00 p.m. She noted that Mr. Ewald Winker from the Public Works and Parks <br />Department would be the speaker, providing the history of the City parks and there would <br />also be a silent auction. <br /> <br />I. PUBLIC HEARINGS <br /> None <br /> <br />J. CONSENT AGENDA <br /> None <br /> <br />K. CITY MANAGER’S REPORT <br />1. <br />Conditional Use Permit (C.U.P.) application for 8664 Olive Boulevard – Matt Mefford <br />with Tesla Motors, Inc.; vehicle repair facility in IC – Industrial Commercial District. <br />The staff and the Plan Commission recommended that the City Council approve <br />Conditional Use Permit (C.U.P.) application for 8664 Olive Boulevard – Matt Mefford <br />with Tesla Motors, Inc.; vehicle repair facility in IC – Industrial Commercial District. <br /> <br />Mr. Glickert moved to approve the Conditional Use Permit (C.U.P.) application for <br />8664 Olive Boulevard, was seconded by Mr. Price and the motion carried <br />unanimously. <br /> <br />2. <br />Budget amendment background material.
