<br /> <br /> MEETING OF THE CITY COUNCIL <br />CITY HALL <br />6801 Delmar Blvd. <br />City of University City, Missouri 63130 <br />June 24, 2013 <br />6:30 p.m. <br /> <br />At the Regular Session of the City Council of University City held on the fifth floor of City Hall, <br />on Monday, June 24, 2013, Mayor Shelley Welsch called the meeting to order at 6:43 p.m. In <br />addition to the Mayor, the following members of the Council were present: <br /> <br />Mr. Byron Price <br />Ms. Paulette Carr <br />Mr. Stephen Kraft <br />Mr. Terry Crow <br />Mr. Michael Glickert <br />Mr. Arthur Sharpe, Jr. <br /> <br />Also in attendance was the City Manager Lehman Walker. <br /> <br />C. APPROVAL OF AGENDA <br />Councilmembers Sharpe and Kraft asked to remove Resolution 2013 – 8. Mr. Price <br />asked to add the appointment of Dorothy Davis to the Library Board. Ms. Carr clarified <br />her addition under Council Business stating it was for discussion on the recent flood in <br />University City. Mr. Walker asked to add an item under his report to provide an update on <br />the recent flooding. <br /> <br />Mr. Glickert moved to approve the amended agenda, seconded by Ms. Carr and the <br />motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />D. PROCLAMATIONS <br />Proclamation for Independent’s Week - Independent Businesses that help preserve the <br />uniqueness of our community. Anyone interested in receiving a copy of the proclamation <br />should contact the City Clerk. <br /> <br />E. APPROVAL OF MINUTES <br />1. <br />The minutes of June 10, 2013, City Council Study Session were moved for approval <br />by Mr. Sharpe, seconded by Mr. Glickert and the motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />2. <br /> The minutes of June 10, 2013, City Council Regular Session were moved for approval <br />by Mr. Sharpe, seconded by Mr. Price and the motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />F. APPOINTMENTS <br />1. <br />Dorothy Davis was nominated to be appointed to the Library Board by Mr. Price, <br />replacing William Baldwin, seconded by Mr. Sharpe and the motion carried <br />unanimously. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />1 <br /> <br /> <br />
