<br />Mr. Sharpe asked if there was a possibility of individuals didn’t file in time if <br />Council could get a better understanding of what their procedures are and how <br />the City could go about doing it. He said we need to find out what kind of things <br />we can or cannot do. <br /> <br />Mayor Welsch stated she believed we would want to verify ownership as MSD <br />owns some channels, others are split ownership, so this might be one point to <br />clarify. <br /> <br />Mr. Walker said it might be of value to have MSD attend a Council meeting so <br />public could hear as well as to what their responses were and asked Council if <br />that would be satisfactory? <br /> <br />Ms. Carr asked Mr. Walker if the City could be of some help in assisting <br />residents with their claims. Mr. Walker said a staff member would be made <br />available to assist with resident’s claims. <br /> <br />M. UNFINISHED BUSINESS <br /> <br />BILLS <br />1. BILL 9183 <br /> - An ordinance approving a final plat for a minor subdivision of a tract of <br />land to be known as Olive Boulevard 7531-7547 consolidation plat, part of Lot 16 <br />and Lot 17 of Mount Olive Subdivision. <br /> <br />Mr. Sharpe moved to approve Bill 9183 and was seconded by Ms. Carr. <br /> <br />Roll Call vote was: <br />AYES: Mr. Price, Ms. Carr, Mr. Kraft, Mr. Crow, Mr. Glickert, Mr. Sharpe and Mayor <br />Welsch <br />NAYS: none <br /> <br />Bill 9183 carried unanimously and became Ordinance 6915. <br /> <br />N NEW BUSINESS <br />RESOLUTIONS <br />1. <br />Resolution 2013 – 7 Approval of 2% Cost of Living Adjustment, COLA increase for <br />City Manager for FY14. <br /> <br />Mr. Sharpe moved to approve Resolution 2013 – 7 and was seconded by Mr. <br />Glickert. <br /> <br />Mr. Crow thought there was a conversation during budget presentation that the City <br />Manager was not a part of the Cost of Living Adjustment, COLA, increase and so <br />Council voted on a budget that did not include that increase and two weeks after the <br />budget was passed, a resolution was brought forward for a two-percent Cost of <br />Living increase for the City Manager. He said he was perplexed as to why this Cost <br />of Living increase was not in the budget. Mr. Crow said this issue came up in a <br />study session and the question was asked, does the Cost of Living Adjustment <br />include the City Manager and the answer to the question was no.
