MEETING OF THE CITY COUNCIL CITY HALL 6801 Delmar Blvd. City of University City, Missouri 63130 July 9, 2012 6:30 p.m. At the Regular Session of the City Council of University City held on the fifth floor of City Hall, on Monday, July 9, 2012, Mayor Shelley Welsch called the meeting to order at 6:35 p.m. In addition to Mayor Welsch, the following members of the Council were present: Mr. Byron Price Ms. Paulette Carr Mr. Stephen Kraft Mr. Terry Crow Mr. Michael Glickert Mr. Arthur Sharpe, Jr. Also in attendance was the City Manager Lehman Walker. C. APPROVAL OF AGENDA Two reappointments were added to the agenda. Councilmember Byron Price is reappointing of Ms. Holly and Ms. Houston to the Board of Adjustment. Councilmembers Price and Sharpe removed the Closed Session request from the agenda. The agenda as amended carried unanimously. D. PROCLAMATIONS E. APPROVAL OF MINUTES 1. The minutes of June 11, 2012, City Council Regular session were moved for approval by Mr. Sharpe, and were seconded by Mr. Glickert. Mr. Crow stated in his comments under Council reports that “not” should be added as follows: “Mr. Crow said he felt like he should NOT feel guilty because he did not do something” The minutes as amended carried unanimously. 2. The minutes of June 25, 2012, City Council Study session were moved for approval by Mr. Glickert, were seconded by Ms. Carr and the motion carried unanimously. 3. The minutes of June 25, 2012, City Council Regular were moved for approval by Mr. Sharpe, were seconded by Mr. Glickert and carried unanimously, F. APPOINTMENTS 1. Gloria Nickerson was nominated for reappointment to the Board of Appeals by Mr. Price, was seconded by Mr. Sharpe and the motion carried unanimously. 2. Ms. Holly was nominated for reappointment to the Board of Adjustment by Mr. Price, was seconded by Mr. Sharpe and the motion carried unanimously 1
