The bids were as follows: <br /> <br /> Specified Alternate <br />Preferred Pool $69,901 $81,566 <br />Westport Pools No bid $87,284 <br /> <br />Mr. Wagner moved approval of the purchase and installation of the new pool filter system as recommended. Mr. Munkel <br />seconded. <br /> <br />Mr. Lieberman said that the chlorine level was pretty high and asked Mr. Ollendorff if the chlorine level could be lowered <br />some. Mr. Ollendorff responded that with the installation of the new filter system and along with other properly engineered <br />adjustments, that the chlorine level could be lowered. It will save us in chlorine, as well as wear and tear on pipes. <br /> <br />Mr. Munkel asked if these new filters would be in metal or glass tanks. Mr. Ollendorff responded that he wasn't sure, but <br />that he seemed to remember fiberglass from the specs, Mr. Ueberman said that he thought that the tanks were most likely <br />fiberglass, due to the presence of chlorine. <br /> <br />All aye motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />ADJOURNMENT <br /> <br />Mayor Adams adjourned the meeting at 5:1 I p.m. <br /> <br />eine, Cid/Clerk <br /> <br /> <br />
