Session 1688, Minutes <br />February 24, 1997 <br /> <br />conditions being requirements that it go underground and dealing with taking or not taking properties. <br /> <br />Mr. Lieberman asked Mr. Ollendorff if he emphasized, in his correspondence, that the current cost <br />estimates did not include underground construction. Mr. Ollendorff replied that, in both cases, his <br />letter stated that the Council did not consider the cases complete until they had the costs of all of the <br />conditions as requested by Council. <br /> <br />Mayor Adams wanted to remind Coundl that the East-West Gateway Coordinating Council is only into <br />route selection of the Metrolink expansion at this time, not the design phase. <br /> <br />Mr. Wagner asked Mr. Ollendorff if he had any comments back from the County or East-West Gateway <br />Coordinating Council as of yet. Mr. Ollendorff responded that since the letters just went out in the last <br />two business days, that no, he had not. <br /> <br />Mayor Adams wanted to remind Councilmembers to send their correspondence to all groups; supporters <br />and opponents alike. <br /> <br />Mayor Adams wished for the Council to consider canceling the March 10, 1997 Council Meeting, if he <br />and the City Manager could determine if the agenda was such that it could be postponed until March <br />24, 1997, the next scheduled Council meeting. <br /> <br />Mr. Schoomer moved that the City Manager publish the cancellation of the March 10, 1997 Council <br />Meeting, if so determined.
