<br />Mayor Welsch mentioned that Health Protection and Education Service was having its <br />free monthly screening at the library starting at 9 am on Saturday. Barnes Jewish will <br />be providing free mammograms; Fair UCity is coming up next month and organizers <br />are looking for volunteers. Anyone interested should let her know; the UCity <br />Education Foundation would be holding a fundraiser at the Green Center on <br />September 7 – you can check the web site for details; the Fitness Fun Buffet is the <br />th <br />week of August 19 at Centennial Commons and is free for people to try the <br />th <br />recreation classes we provide; an MSD meeting is August 20 at the Heman Park <br />Community Center and if details were needed please contact the City Manager; the <br />next outdoor Movie in the Park would be August 24 – the Pursuit of Happyness will <br />be shown at Fogerty Park. Finally she asked to go on record and say “The Sutter- <br />Meyer Society has not asked formally for $15,000. They thought they might need the <br />money for painting and asked the City Manager during the budget process to include <br />the money in the budget so that it would be there if the request came. They have not <br />made that request and actually don’t know if that request will be made”. <br /> <br />Q.
