TAX E - 6303 BAI~IMER The City Manager said the University City Redevelu~uent Authority .r,e~BL~ freezing the pk-operty tax c~ this new industrial devel~ent for 10 years-- full freezing for five y~s, with g'l--dd,,;~l ~.es to the tenth year when full tax will be paid on the improved p~operty. =his is in keeping with past City Council policy where appropriate devel~-!~nt has taken plaoe. Approval Mr. Wagner moved approval. Mr. Cottc~ seconded the motion and all voted Aye. The City Manager concurred with tba Plan O~ission that bus parki~ may be permit~a west of Brittany School if tba neighborhood is protected by proper landscaping and screening. The School District has aB~-~a to ¢~a~ly with the following conditicrs: 1. Solid fencing with slats or fabric plus approved landscaping for screen- ing fi~. 81st, RUth Park, Gr~by. 2. Lighting shielded f~.,.aLL residential neighbors. 3. No repairs; storage/parking only of up to 28 buses in good repair for University City Schools only. (Subject to future review. ) 4. City to remove traffic barriers on Groby (so buses are not forced onto Bon~,~/Swarthmore). 5. Roadway and parking/storage area to have asphalt paving. Orecrete curb- ing and p=uperly designed curb radius at Groby. Traffic barriers at edges of parking/storage area.
