<br /> <br />Plan Commission <br /> <br />June 26, 2013 Meeting Minutes <br /> <br />(approved 8/28/2013) <br /> <br />The Plan Commission held their regular meeting at the Heman Park Community Center located <br />at 975 Pennsylvania Avenue, University City, Missouri on June 26, 2013. The meeting <br />commenced at 7:10 pm. <br /> <br />Voting Members Present Voting Members Absent (excused) <br /> <br />Deidre Lewis, Chairperson Evelyn Hollowell <br />Linda Locke, Vice-Chairperson <br />Ben Senturia <br />Lisa Greening <br />Cirri Moran <br />Ben Halpert <br /> <br />Non-Voting Council Liaison Present <br /> <br />Mayor Shelley Welsch <br /> <br />Staff Present <br /> <br />Andrea Riganti, Director of Community Development <br />Ray Lai, Deputy Director of Economic and Community Development <br />Zach Greatens, Planner <br /> <br />Approval of Minutes <br />A motion was made by Mr. Senturia to approve the minutes of the May 22, 2013 meeting. The <br />motion was seconded by Ms. Moran. By a vote of 6 to 0, the motion carried unanimously and <br />the May 22, 2013 meeting minutes were approved. <br /> <br />Minor Subdivision / Final Plat (13-05010) 7346 Forsyth Boulevard, Unit 6 <br /> <br />The Chairperson stated that the next agenda item, file number 13-05010, was a Final Plat to <br />resubdivide 7346 Forsyth Boulevard Unit 6, an existing condo unit, into two condo units. <br /> <br />Mr. Greatens provided an overview of maps and pictures of the site and surrounding area. <br /> <br />Mr. Tom Palitzsch with Thomas Realty Group, representing Forsyth Condo Association, Inc., <br />explained the proposal to the Plan Commission. The subject condo unit was originally <br />developed as a penthouse unit but was never sold as it was not a marketable unit. <br /> <br />Questions/ Comments from the Plan Commission members and responses included: <br /> <br /> <br />-Further explanation was requested regarding the Board of Adjustment decisions <br />mentioned in the staff report. Mr. Palitzsch stated that in order to expand from six units <br />to seven units they needed to address the number of required parking spaces to meet the <br />Zoning Code.
