<br />MEETING OF THE CITY COUNCIL <br />CITY HALL <br />6801 Delmar Blvd. <br />City of University City, Missouri 63130 <br />October 28, 2013 <br />6:30 p.m. <br /> <br />A. MEETING CALLED TO ORDER <br /> <br />At the Regular Session of the City Council of University City held on the fifth floor of <br />City Hall, on Monday, October 28, 2013, Mayor Shelley Welsch called the meeting to <br />order at 6:32 p.m. <br /> <br />B. ROLL CALL <br /> In addition to the Mayor, the following members of the Council were present: <br />Mr. Byron Price <br />Ms. Paulette Carr <br />Mr. Stephen Kraft <br />Mr. Terry Crow <br />Mr. Michael Glickert <br />Mr. Arthur Sharpe, Jr. <br /> <br />Also in attendance was the City Manager Lehman Walker. <br /> <br />C. APPROVAL OF AGENDA <br />City Manager Lehman Walker stated that he had provided Council with an agenda item <br />cover regarding the Budget Resolution that he would like to amend. He stated that item <br />number 5 should be corrected to read $1,987,989 rather than the $698,282 that was <br />submitted in 2013. Mr. Walker stated that the grant amount and remaining balance <br />would remain the same. <br /> <br />Mr. Walker stated that Bill Number 9123; the Dog Play Area, was not an emergency bill <br />and therefore Council could simply introduce it this evening. <br /> <br />Mr. Glickert moved to approve the agenda as amended, seconded by Mr. Sharpe and <br />the motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />D. PROCLAMATIONS <br /> <br />E. APPROVAL OF MINUTES <br />1. <br />The October 14, 2013 City Council Regular Session minutes were moved for <br />approval by Mr. Sharpe and was seconded by Mr. Price. <br /> <br />Mr. Price stated that page 21, E-121, should be amended to read “Defund the Home <br />Repair Program”. <br /> <br />Ms. Carr stated that there were several mentions of the ballgame by Councilmember <br />Kraft that were omitted from the minutes. She stated that while the ballgame had little <br />to do with the topic being discussed, and is something that normally she would not be <br />1 <br /> <br /> <br />
