SESSION 1685 <br /> <br />MINUTES OF THE UNIVERSITY CITY COUNCIL <br /> <br /> January 6, 1997 <br /> <br />At a regular meeting of the City Council of University City held in the Council Chamber of City Hall on <br />Monday, January 6, 1997, Mayor Joseph L. Adams called the meeting to order at 7:30 p.m. In addition <br />to the Mayor, the following members of the Council were present: <br /> <br />Mr. Hardy Ware <br />Mr. Wayne I. Munkel <br />Mr. Robert G. Wagner <br />Mr. Lawrence Lieberman <br />Mr. Paul E. Schoomer <br />Mrs. Betty L. Thompson <br /> <br />Also present was City Manager Frank Ollendorff~. <br /> <br />~MINUTFS <br /> <br />Mr. Wagner moved approval of the January 6, 1997, minutes as submitted. Mr. Schoomer seconded <br />the motion, which carried unanimously. <br /> <br />RF. SOI,UTION - PARKING FACII,ITY. 6319 DF.!,MAR <br /> <br />The City Clerk read a resolution which accepts a proposal from Edward D. Jones Company for a loan <br />to University City to assist in the construction of a public parking facility at 6319 Delmar Boulevard. <br /> <br />Mr. Schoomer moved approval. Mr. Munkd seconded, and all voted Aye. The resolution will become <br />part of the permanent minutes. <br /> <br />APPOINTMF,~NTS] RF. APPOINTMENTS <br /> <br />Mr. Munkel moved the reappointments of Mr. Paul Marsh, 7462 Cornell, and Ms. Patricia Perryman, <br />848 W'dner Drive, to the Historic Preservation Commission for terms expiring September 9, 1999. Mr. <br />Lieherman seconded the motion, which carded unanimously. <br /> <br />Mr. Wagner moved the appointment of Mr. Larry Self, 7057 Kingsbury, to the City Plan Commission <br />for a term expiring January 1, 2000. Mr. Schoomer seconded the motion, and all voted Aye. <br /> <br />Mr. Wagner moved the appointment of Mr. O. C. Cames, 1235 Partridge, to the Park Commission for <br />a term expiring January 21, 2000. Mrs. Thompson seconded the motion, and all voted Aye. <br /> <br /> <br />
