Session 1770 <br />November 22, 1999 <br /> <br />Responding to Mr. Schoomer, Mr. Rose said that whether or not this position would be <br />responsible for hiring and firing has not been determined yet, but his thoughts were that he <br />believes that it would be, but he does not know for certain. He will check and get back to <br />Council. <br /> <br />Ms. Colquitt stated that the Recycling Fair that the Public Works Department held the past <br />Saturday went really, really well. She stated that she received many positive responses <br />from the community that attended, and that many wanted to know when the next one <br />would be. People brought in clothes, books and magazines for recycling. There was free <br />soda and barbeque. She commends Ms. Shields and her staff for the excellent job that <br />they did. <br /> <br />Mayor Adams welcomed back Mr. Wagner who been vacationing for several weeks. <br /> <br />Mr. Schoomer announced that tomorrow morning at 8:50 a.m. at Jackson Park School, the <br />Joseph's Coat of Many Colors that was constructed by the 34 graders with the assistance of <br />returning student and artist Larry Crone would be dedicated. <br /> <br />Mr. Lieberman announced that this coming Thursday was his and Joy's wedding <br />anniversary. <br /> <br />ADJOURNMENT: <br /> <br />Mayor Adams adjourned the regular session at 7:56 p.m. and announced that the next <br />regular meeting would be held on the 20 of Dec <br /> <br /> K.
