Session 1772 <br />January 10, 2000 <br /> <br />REAPPOINTMENTS: <br /> <br />Mayor Adams moved the reappointment of Mr. Michael Corn to the Board of Appeals for a <br />term ending August 1, 2004. Mr. Schoomer seconded the motion, which carried <br />unanimously. <br /> <br />Mr. Lieberman moved the reappointments of Mr. O.C. Carnes, Ms. Caryn St. Clair and Mr. <br />Robert Klepper to the Park Commission for terms ending January 21, 2003. Mr. Wagner <br />seconded the motion, which carried unanimously. <br /> <br />BOARD AND COMMISSION REPORTS: <br /> <br />Mr. Lieberman stated that the Park Commission had not met since the last report. <br /> <br />Mr. Schoomer stated that the Arts and Letters Commission and the Historic Preservation <br />Commission had not met since the last report. He also reported that due to his new <br />teaching schedule on Tuesdays and Thursdays, he will no longer be able to continue his <br />liaison duties with these two boards. He asked if any other members of Council could take <br />on his responsibilities until the new assignments are made in April. Both meet on <br />Tuesdays. <br /> <br />Mr. Sharpe stated that the Traffic Commission has not met since the last report. <br /> <br />Ms. Colquitt said that the Pension Boards had not met yet, however CALOP is hard at work <br />preparing for the CALOP Academy Awards, which is scheduled for January 20th, which will <br />be an after 5 attire affair. <br /> <br />Mr. Munkel said that the Library Board had not met since the last report. <br /> <br />Mr. Wagner said that the Plan Commission had not met since the last report. <br /> <br />Mayor Adams stated that the TIF, IDA and LCRA had not met since the last report. <br /> <br />CITY MANAGER'S REPORTS: <br /> <br />AGENDA #1 - CONSENT CALENDAR (3 ITEMS): <br /> <br />#7 -Landscape Front Loader: Invitations to Bid were sent to five vendors for subject <br />loader for the Parks Department.
