Session 1773 <br /> <br />MINUTES OF THE UNIVERSITY CITY COUNCIL <br /> <br />January 24, 2000 <br /> <br />At a regular meeting of the City Council of University City held in the Council Chambers of <br />City Hall on Monday, January 24, 2000, Mayor Joseph L. Adams called the meeting to <br />order at 7:30 p.m. In addition to the Mayor, the following members of the Council were <br />present: <br /> <br />Ms. Cassandra Colquitt <br />Mr. Wayne Munkel <br />Mr. Robert Wagner <br />Mr. Larry Lieberman <br />Mr. Paul Schoomer <br />Mr. Arthur Sharpe, Jr. <br /> <br />Also present was City Manager, Mr. Frank Ollendorff. <br /> <br />MINUTES: <br /> <br />Mr. Wagner moved approval of the regular session minutes from January 10, 2000. Ms. <br />Colquitt seconded the motion, which carried unanimously. <br /> <br />OATH OF OFFICE: <br /> <br />The following were administered the oath of office by the City Clerk: <br /> <br />Ms. Barb Heise - TIF and LCRA <br />Mr. Doyle Mitchell - Park Commission <br /> <br />Mayor Adams thanked both of these citizens for their willingness to serve the City in this <br />fashion, stating that the strength of University City was its strong boards and commissions <br />and the citizens that served on them. <br /> <br />CITY MANAGER'S REPORTS: <br /> <br />AGENDA #1 - CONSENT CALENDAR (2 ITEMS): <br /> <br />#1 -Police Vehicle: Invitations to Bid were issued for pumhasing a 2000 Chevrolet <br />Impala for the Police Department. The following responses were received: <br /> <br />Don Brown Chevrolet ................... $18,558.00 <br /> <br /> <br />
