Session 1773 <br />January 24, 2000 <br /> <br />Auffenberg Chevrolet ................... $18,788.00 <br /> <br />Mr. Ollendorff recommends purchasing this vehicle from Don Brown Chevrolet for their low <br />bid $18,558.00. We are keeping the trade-in to replace an older vehicle which was <br />damaged beyond repair. <br /> <br />#2 - Police Van: Invitations to Bid were issued for purchasing a 2000 Chevrolet Astro <br />Cargo Van for the Police Department. The following responses were received: <br /> <br />Don Brown Chevrolet <br />Auffenberg Chevrolet <br /> <br />$20,375.00 $4,400.00 $15,975.00 <br /> <br />$20,738.00 $5,100.00 $15,638.00 <br /> <br />Mr. Ollendorff recommends purchasing this vehicle from Auffenberg Chevrolet for their low <br />bid of $15,638.00. <br /> <br />Mr. Schoomer moved approval of the consent calendar. Mr. Sharpe seconded the motion, <br />which carried unanimously. <br /> <br />CITY CLERK'S DOCKET: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION: 6900 BLOCK OF WASHINGTON NEIGHBORHOOD IMPROVEMENT <br />DISTRICT: <br /> <br />Mayor Adams briefed Council and the audience on the resolution which acknowledges the <br />6900 block of Washington Avenue's petition to form a Neighborhood Improvement District <br />and orders the City Manager to draw up plans and specifications to be shown to the <br />petitioners for their approval at a future public hearing, not yet specified. <br /> <br />Mr. Jerome Koczan, 6906 Washington Ave., stated that he was a subdivision trustee for <br />the 6900 block of Washington. He stated that the subdivision attorney had not had an <br />opportunity to review this matter yet and therefore, he requires more time in order to do so. <br />Mr. Koczan stated that the church would like to take an active part and would like to vote <br />on this one way or the other, but they do not own the property and they have to go to their <br />trustees and then on to the synod to ask permission. He believes that this should not be <br />approved until the attorney and the church have time to review it first. <br /> <br />2 <br /> <br /> <br />
