Plan Commission January 23, 2014 Meeting Minutes (approved 2/26/2014) The Plan Commission held their regular meeting at the Heman Park Community Center located at 975 Pennsylvania Avenue, University City, Missouri on Thursday, January 23, 2014. The meeting commenced at 7:10 pm. 1. Roll Call Voting Members Present Voting Members Absent Linda Locke (Chairperson) None Cirri Moran (Vice-Chairperson) Michael Miller Rick Salamon Andrew Ruben Rosalind Williams Non-Voting Council Liaison Present Mayor Shelley Welsch Staff Present Andrea Riganti, Director of Community Development Ray Lai, Deputy Director of Economic and Community Development Zach Greatens, Planner 2. Approval of Minutes A motion was made by Mr. Miller to approve the December 23, 2013 meeting minutes. The motion was seconded by Ms. Moran and carried by a vote of 5 to 0 with one abstention. 3. Public Hearings 3.a. Conditional Use Permit 14-00012 6261 Delmar Boulevard Proposal for ground- floor restaurant (non-retail use) with frontage on Delmar Boulevard in the PD-M Planned Development Mixed-Use District The Chairperson announced that a public hearing was scheduled for Conditional Use Permit application 14-00012 to allow a ground-floor restaurant, a non-retail use, with frontage on Delmar Boulevard in the PD-M Planned Development Mixed-Use District at 6261 Delmar Boulevard. She stated it was located in the previously approved mixed- use development owned by Washington University. The Chairperson stated that the applicant was Kevin Flynn with Kiku Obata and Company, on behalf of Joe Edwards with Peacock Loop Diner, LLC.
