Breakdown of Residential Property Tax Bill <br />58.8 percent goes to the School District <br />8.7 percent goes to <br />3.1 percent goes to the Library <br />The remainder goes to the Police/Fire Retirement Plan and debt service <br /> <br />CAPITAL IMPROVEMENTS <br />Mr. Walker stated that as indicated in his earlier comments some of the <br />capital improvements which are identified in the budget material distributed <br />to Council will change over the next three months. <br /> Mr. Walker noted that copies of the budget will be made available for <br />members of Council and candidates following the meeting. <br /> <br />L.COUNCIL REPORTS/BUSINESS <br /> <br />Boards and Commission appointments needed <br />1. <br /> <br />Mayor Welsch read the appointments that were needed. <br />Council liaison reports on Boards and Commissions <br />2. <br />Boards, Commissions and Task Force minutes <br />3. <br />Other Discussions/Business <br />4. <br /> <br />M.UNFINISHED BUSINESS <br /> <br />BILLS <br />BILL 9223 - An ordinance amending a section of Chapter 10, vehicles <br />1. <br />and traffic, to revise traffic regulations as provided herein. Per the <br />request of Mayor Welsch the Bill was read for the second and third time. <br /> <br />Mr. Glickert moved to approve Bill 9223, seconded by Ms. Carr. <br /> <br />Roll Call vote was: <br />AYES: Mr. Price, Ms. Carr, Mr. Kraft, Mr. Glickert, Mr. Sharpe and Mayor <br />Welsch. <br />NAYS: none <br /> <br /> <br />BILL 9224 - An ordinance amending a section of Chapter 10, vehicles <br />2. <br />and traffic, to revise traffic regulations as provided herein. Per the <br />request of Mayor Welsch the Bill was read for the second and third time. <br /> <br />Ms. Pumm advised Council that the agenda included a combination of two <br />bills, so she will only be reading the section pertaining to Bill 9224. <br /> <br />Mayor Welsch questioned whether the added portion should be eliminated? <br />Ms. Pumm stated that it should be. <br /> <br />Mr. Sharpe moved to approve Bill 9224, seconded by Mr. Glickert. <br /> <br />Ms. Carr asked Mr. Pumm if she could re-describe exactly what Council was <br />voting on. <br /> <br />Mayor Welsch asked if Bill 9224 had been introduced last week.
