<br /> <br />8.a. Code Review Committee Report <br /> None <br /> <br />8.b. Comprehensive Plan Committee Report <br /> <br />Mr. Lai stated that the Comprehensive Plan Committee (CPC) met on March 13 and <br />reviewed the planning process and recognized that adjustments could be made now that <br />the consultants had been hired. He stated that dates had been reviewed for a kick-off <br />meeting and were now looking at May 6 and May 7 Tuesday and Wednesday of that <br />week. He stated there would be a draft application for those interested in serving on the <br />Comprehensive Plan Advisory Committee (CPAC) and the recruitment effort would <br />begin tomorrow. He added that the CPC was tentatively set to review applications on <br />April 3 with a deadline to receive applications of April 11. He stated they were seeking a <br />good cross-section of the City and there would be other opportunities if applicants were <br />not selected for the CPAC such as focus groups. He added that a draft application had <br />been sent out and if there were any comments they could be emailed. <br /> <br />8.c. Council Liaison Report <br /> <br />Mayor Welsch stated that the Federal Transit Administration (FTA) had removed the <br />grant conditions related to the Loop Trolley Project and The Loop Trolley Transportation <br />Development District (TDD) Board hoped to put the project out to bid in early April. If <br />the bids came back as hoped and the project moved forward as planned, it should be <br />completed by fall of 2015. She stated that the newly established Commission on Senior <br />Issues had met with a representative from the Planning Department with St. Louis County <br />and would be working together on aging in place initiatives for the community. She <br />added that the Police Department would be holding another citizens police academy <br />program in May. <br /> <br />8.d. Department Report <br /> <br />Ms. Riganti stated that the Final Development Plan for Crown Center was introduced at <br />the previous City Council meeting and would have a second and third reading at the next <br />Council meeting. She stated that the Vanguard apartment complex on Delcrest had <br />reached significant occupancy and that the Walgreens on Delmar is nearing completion <br />with Little Sunshine Playhouse daycare facility next to it underway. She stated that the <br />Olive Business Forum was held on March 13 and highly attended by the business <br />community and residents. Ms. Riganti stated that there was a Heman Park survey that <br />revived soon. There was a new Plan Commission nominated by Councilmember Sharpe <br />and would be sworn in soon. <br /> <br />9.
