<br />MEETING OF THE CITY COUNCIL <br />CITY HALL, Fifth Floor <br />6801 Delmar Blvd. <br />City of University City, Missouri 63130 <br />April 28, 2014 <br />6:30 p.m. <br /> <br />A. MEETING CALLED TO ORDER <br /> <br />At the Regular Session of the City Council of University City held on the fifth floor of City Hall, on <br />Monday, April 28, 2014, Mayor Shelley Welsch called the meeting to order at 6:31 p.m. <br /> <br />B. ROLL CALL <br />In addition to the Mayor the following members of the Council were present: <br /> <br /> Mr. Byron Price <br /> Ms. Paulette Carr <br /> Mr. Stephen Kraft <br /> Mr. Terry Crow <br /> Mr. Michael Glickert <br /> Mr. Arthur Sharpe, Jr. <br /> <br />Also in attendance was the City Manager Lehman Walker. <br /> <br />C. APPROVAL OF AGENDA <br />Mr. Glickert moved to approve the agenda, seconded by Mr. Sharpe and the motion carried <br />unanimously. <br /> <br />D. PROCLAMATIONS <br />Proclamation - Building Safety Month. A proclamation that supports the City’s continuing efforts <br />to address critical issues of safety, energy efficiency and resilience in the built environment that <br />affects the citizens of University City. <br /> <br />E. APPROVAL OF MINUTES <br /> <br />1. <br />March 24, 2014, City Council Regular Session minutes were moved for approval by Mr. <br />Sharpe, was seconded by Mr. Kraft and the motion carried unanimously. <br />2. <br />February 25, 2006 minutes, created from notes available, was moved for approval by Ms. <br />Carr and was seconded by Mr. Crow. <br /> <br />Ms. Carr asked that the minutes reflect that they were recreated from Mr. Mulligan’s notes. <br />Mayor Welsch stated that she would not be voting to approve minutes from eight years ago that <br />were created from notes without any input from the individuals who were in attendance at the <br />meeting. <br /> <br />Voice vote on the motion of Ms. Carr carried unanimously, with the exception of Mayor Welsch. <br /> <br />CITIZEN COMMENTS <br />Jan Adams, 7150 Cambridge <br />Ms. Adams stated that she would like to be allowed the opportunity to provide comments on the <br />appointment to the Civil Service Board since it would be too late to do so at the designated time <br />for citizen’s participation. <br /> <br />Mayor Welsch ruled it was out of order. <br /> <br />1 <br /> <br /> <br />
