She did not feel ccmnforfeble IRltting restrictions on at this time. <br /> <br />In response to Mr. Price, Mr. 011endorff said he felt license restrictions <br />should he set now so ell will u~H~rstand that if Wal~en's ever does get a <br />license, it will he very limif~, <br /> <br />The vote on the amendment was as follows: AYES: O:~uxx~il'memt~ Price, Wagner <br />and TnuL~eml; NAYS: Councilmembers Schocmer, Sc~m~n, and Mayor Majerus. Tne <br />motion failed by a vote of three to three. <br /> <br />At Mrs. Scbuman's suggestion and following discussion, it was ~ that <br />Condition #6 will he witkxitlwn so ell reference to liquor sales is removed. <br />Should a liquor licerse application ever he received, a site plan amerament <br />will be required and my he debated at that time. <br /> <br />Tne developer, Mr. Tc~y Sansone, was asked to ccme forward. Responaing to Mr. <br />Price, Mr. Sapsone said Walgreen's will not sell liquor. <br /> <br />All volta Aye except Mr. Wagner, who voted__ May. ~he motion carried by a vote <br />of five to one. Mayor Majell~ thank~a Mr. Saraone for his patience and said <br /> <br />pLuLdsed that Walgreen's will he sensitive to the o..~-mity's czmcerr~. Mr. <br />Ollendorff said he appreciated the develcpeac's ocmlfidence in University City. <br /> <br />The City Manager reoame_rn~ that the Council permit I ImPted use of a private <br />roadway to the new Schnuck's celter in Iadue, with the following conditions: <br /> <br />1. Provide and maintain a four foot wide ccrEzete pedestrian walk on the <br /> east side of the road, ra~ed at l~a~ 4 inches above the surface of the <br /> <br /> ties that abut the east side of the roadway right-of-w~y. <br />2. Construct vertical portland cement cxxlcrete curbs on both sides of the <br /> <br /> destrian walk and road pavemmnt moved westward, if necessary, exDept at <br /> <br /> <br />
