Ms. Patti Reis, 7610 Gannon, asked the Council to approve the expansion, and also left sane photographs and a petition of support with the City Clerk. Mrs. Schuman moved an amendment to the motion that would limit outdoor seating to 24. Mr. Schoaner seconded the motion, which carried unanimously. All voted Aye on the amended motion. LIQUOR LICENSE - 628-630 NORTH AND SOUTH ROAD The City Manager said an application to sell beer and wine by the glass at this location was tabled pending Council action on the site plan. He noted that those who collected signatures of support for the restaurant expansion also assured him that the signers were in favor of the liquor license. Mr. Adams moved that this item be removed from the table. Mr. Schoomer sec- onded the motion, which carried unanimously. Mr. Adams then moved approval of the liquor license application. Mr. Schoomer seconded the motion, which carried unanimously. CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT - 8406 OLIVE BOULEVARD The City Manager concurred in the Plan Commission recommendation for restaur- ant use of the property at 8406 Olive, with the following conditions: 1. The storage area indicated on the floor plan suhtiitted shall not be used as restaurant seating, banquet facilities, or other use. 2. Trash containers for patron use shall be available on the premises at all times and the operator shall regularly police the area adjacent to the restaurant as well as the area to the south to remove litter and debris. 3. An outdoor refuse disposal box and surrounding area shall be maintained in a clean and sanitary condition at all times. 4. An exhaust system shall be installed or other means shall be taken to pre- vent any food preparation or cooking odors beyond the limits of the Gener- al Commercial District. 5. A landscape area is to be installed to the east of the east line of the parking area and also at the front of the site for the easternmost 30 feet. It is to be installed and maintained in accordance with a landscape plan submitted to and approved by the Director of Planning. These land- scape installations will require cutting out asphalt. 6. Hours of operation shall be limited to 11 a.m. - 10 p.m. Mr. Wagner moved approval including all conditions, with Mrs. Thompson second- ing the motion.
