SESSION 1511 ihme MINUTES OF THE UNIVERSITY CITY COUNCIL January 22, 1990 At a regular meeting of the City Council of University City held in the Assem- bly Room of City Hall on Monday, January 22, 1990, Mayor Janet Majerus presid- ed and called the meeting to order at 7:30 p.m. In addition to the Mayor, the following members of the Council were present: Mr. Byron R. Price* Mr. Joseph L. Adams, Jr. Mr. Robert G. Wagner Mrs. Mary V. Schuman Mr. Paul E. Schooner Mrs. Betty L. Thompson *Mr. Price arrived at 7:55 p.m. Also present was Deputy City Manager Susan Glassman. City Manager Frank 01- lendorff was excused. January 8, 1990 Mr. Wagner moved approval of the January 8, 1990 minutes as submitted. Mr. Adams seconded the motion, which carried unanimously. January 16, 1990 Mrs. Schuman moved approval of the minutes of the special meeting held on Jan- uary 16, 1990. Mr. Schooner seconded the motion, which carried unanimously. REAPPOINTMENTS Mr. Adams moved the reappointment of Ms. Jen Jensen, 706 Pennsylvania, and Mr. Wendell Campbell, 1347 Mendell Drive, to the Park Commission for terms expir- ing January 21, 1993. Mr. Schocener seconded the motion, which carried unani- mously. Mr. Wagner moved the reappointments of Mr. Arnold Kendall, 6705 Crest, and Mr. Stephen P. Marsh, 7110 Cornell, to the Plan Commission for terms expiring Jan- uary 1, 1993. Mr. Adams seconded the motion, which carried unanimously. OATHS OF OFFICE The following citizens were given the oath of office by the City Clerk after being reappointed to various boards or commissions: Mr. Peter Green to the Industrial Development Authority and Tax Increment Financing Commission, Mr. Allen Sabol to the Commission on Human Relations, and Mrs. Elsie Glickert to the Historic Preservation Commission.
