Session 1528, Minutes Page 6 <br /> September 10, 1990 <br /> 3. A detailed landscape plan shall be submitted to the Director of Planning <br /> for his review and approval. Landscaping shall be installed and main- <br /> tained in accordance with the approved plan. <br /> 4. The refuse box shall be screened, preferably with landscaping. <br /> The applicant, Mr. Ed Peek, 9947 76th Ave., Bridgeview, IL, came forward. In <br /> response to Mayor Majerus, Mr. Peek agreed to all conditions except for the <br /> fencing. He proposed removing the present cyclone fence andinstalling a <br /> shadow box cedar fence instead. Mr. 011endorff said the condition could be <br /> changed to "fencing meeting the approval of staff." It was so agreed. <br /> Responding to Mr. Schoomer, Mr. Peek said a self-service air machine will pro- <br /> vide free air. <br /> Nrs, Schuman moved approval, including the change in Condition No. 2. Mrs. <br /> Thompson seconded the motion, which carried unanimously. <br /> CONDITIONAL USE AMENDMENT - 6808 WASHINGTON <br /> The City Manager concurred in the recommendation of the Plan Commission to al- <br /> low amendment of the conditional use permit at 6808 Washington, with the fol- <br /> lowing conditions: <br /> 1. Use of the building shall be limited to institutional offices, civic or- <br /> ganizations, not-for-profit offices and uses of a church-related nature. <br /> 2. Signs shall be limited to a building wall sign, either an approximately 2' <br /> x 4' Primary Sign or a Directory Sign. <br /> Mr. 011endorff noted that rezoning of this and the adjacent apartment building <br /> to "PA" Public Activity is recommended and will be the subject of a public <br /> hearing on October 1st. <br /> Mrs. Thompson moved approval with all conditions. Mr. Schocaner seconded the <br /> motion, which carried unanimously. <br /> CONDITIONAL USE AMENDMENT - 6816 WASHINGTON <br /> The City Manager agreed with the Plan Commission recommendation that addition- <br /> al office and counseling space, as well as an increased number of residents, <br /> be approved, subject to the following conditions: <br /> 1. No structural changes or remodeling to the interior or exterior of the <br /> building shall take place without the express approval of the City Council. <br /> 2. Off-street parking shall be provided at the rear of the property on a <br /> paved surface of asphalt or concrete and containing at least five spaces. <br /> 3. The premises should be kept free of litter at all times. <br /> 4. Outdoor activity of staff, clients and their visitors shall be limited to <br /> the rear yard, and no congregating of clients or their visitors in front <br /> of the building, either on the premises or one the public sidewalks or <br /> (mestreets in the vicinity, shall be permitted. <br /> 5. A strict curfew of 10:30 p.m. shall be maintained for all outdoor activi- <br /> ties and all loud noir.= which can be heard by residents. <br />
