OFFICIAL TRAFFIC SIGNS AND SIGNALS-- DESICNATION PROHIBITING RIGHT TURN ON RED INTERSECTIONS" BY AMENDING SAID SEC- TION SO AS TO PROHIBIT RIGHT TURN ON RED AT DESIGNATED INTERSECTIONS. A bill was introduced by Councilmember Adams, entitled: "AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 21 OF THE MUNICIPAL CODE OF THE CITY OF UNIVER- SITY CITY RELATING TO N)I0R VEHICLES AND TRAFFIC, BY REPEALING SECTION 21-10.1 SOF, AS ENAVAU BY ORDINANCE NO. 5506 ENACAD NOVEMBER 4, 1985, RELATING TO OFFICIAL TRAFFIC SIGNS AND SIGNS--DESIGNATION OF RIGHT TURN ON RED INTER- SECTIONS, AND ENACTING IN LIEU THEREOF A NEW SECTION TO BE KNOWN AS 'SECTION 21-10.2. OFFICIAL TRAFFIC SIGNS AND SIGNALS--DESIGNATION PROHIBITING RIGHT TURN ON RED INTERSECTIONS' BY AMENDING SAID SECTION SO AS TO PROHIBIT RIGHT TURN ON RED AT DESIGNATED INTERSECTIONS; CONTAINING A SAVING CLAUSE AND PRO- VIDING A PENALTY." Mr. 011endorff said this bill will remove the prohibition on right turn on red at Pershing and Hanley, and the north off-ramp at I-170 and Delmar. ANNOUNCEMENTS Mrs. Thompson said the 8200 block of Braddock had a picnic and bestyard con- test last Saturday, and she was extremely pleased to report that every resi- dent on that block took part and that all the yards were outstanding.
