It was recommended that the revised bid of $29,950 from T & L Tree Service be accepted. Mr. Adams moved approval. Mr. Schooner seconded the motion, which carried unanimously. UNIFORM RENTAL SERVICE BIDS The City Manager said Council approval was requested to accept the lowest and best bid to supply city worker rental uniforms (streets, parks, sanitation, central garage, custodial) from Clean Industrial Services for a total cost of $10,104.64. He said the Finance Director proposed that all divisions receive a minimum of seven uniforms (giving them three changes per week) , with the exception of the Central Garage, which has had five changes per week and will remain at that level. The City's current cost for uniforms is $8,476 which included five uniforms for workers except for Central Garage. Mr. Price moved approval as recammended. Mr. Schooner seconded the motion, which carried unanimously. PERSONNEL REPORT The Personnel report for the week ending October 13, 1990 was received and or- dered filed. LIIIZEN COMMENTS Ms. Geri Rothman, 605 Old Ballas, candidate for the St. Louis County Council, said she wanted to introduce herself, and say had much she looked forward to working with the City Council after the election November 6, hopefully as the City's representative on the County Council. DILLS FOR SEOOND AND THIRD READINGS BILL NO. 7980 - AMENDING CHAPTER 25 MUNICIPAL CODE RELATING TO RETIREMENT AND PENSIONS, BY REPEALING SECTION 25-37 AND ENACTING IN LIEU THEREOF A NEW SEC- TION TO BE KNOWN AS "SECTION 25-37. CONTRIBUTIONS" SO AS TO PROVIDE THAT THE EMPLOYEE CONTRIBUTIONS BY WAY OF PAYROLL DEDUCTION SHALL BE PICKED UP BY THE CITY AND TREATED AS EMPLOYER CONTRIBUTIONS WITHIN THE MEANING OF SECTION 414 (kw (H) (2) OF THE INTERNAL REVENUE CODE.
