It was felt that greater <br /> cooperation and understanding could be achieved in this way, and she hoped <br /> for success in her role as facilitator. <br /> Mayor Majerus thanked Ms. Mueller and said the Council was looking forward to <br /> this relationship since Washington University is so much a part of University <br /> City and vice versa. She agreed there were many areas in which to cooperate <br /> and achieve better understanding. <br /> CITY MANAGER'S REPORTS <br /> CONSENT CALENDAR (THREE ITEMS) <br /> Golf Professional Contract (#1) . The City received 14 responses to the invi- z <br /> tation to submit proposals for managing Ruth Park Golf Course. Two were al- <br /> ternate bids from golf course management companies proposing to lease the <br /> course from the City. Six of the remaining 12 were not "Class A" P.G.A. pro- <br /> fessionals and thus were not considered. Approval is recommended. <br /> Public Hearings - Zoning Code Amendments (#2) . It was recommended that two <br /> public hearings be set for 7:30 p.m. January 7, 1991, to consider proposals <br /> to amend the Zoning Code by 1) clarifying permitted uses in the "PR-0" <br /> Planned Residential-Office district, and 2) defining medically-related uses. <br /> Consideration of Bids for Refuse Containers (#3) .
