Session 1533, Minutes Page 2
ILle December 10, 1990
Ms. Mueller said the Student Union initiated the idea of having a liaison be-
tween the University and University City to determine the concerns or prob-
lems that may exist between the two communities. It was felt that greater
cooperation and understanding could be achieved in this way, and she hoped
for success in her role as facilitator.
Mayor Majerus thanked Ms. Mueller and said the Council was looking forward to
this relationship since Washington University is so much a part of University
City and vice versa. She agreed there were many areas in which to cooperate
and achieve better understanding.
