Ms. Norton noted that what Ms. Carr calls sunshine or transparency is really fault-finding; just
looking for mistakes. If someone makes a mistake Ms. Carr exaggerates it and if someone
apologizes, Ms. Carr won’t let it go.
Ms Norton noted that Ms. Carr sits up there and makes faces while other people are talking
and she can’t remain impassive when other members are speaking. She stated that no other
Councilmember is up there making faces, snickers and sneers while other people are talking. Ms.
Norton noted that she has never seen a woman single-handedly bring such ill-will to a group.
Ms. Norton ended by saying she did not care if Ms. Carr supports the firefighters or disagrees
with the City Manager but just wanted her to stop complaining. She asked Ms. Carr to stop trying
to find fault with everyone. Ms. Norton said it was no wonder that people aren’t running to tell you
everything because if they admitted fault to her, she would stick the knife in and twist it. She
stated that she hoped that Ms. Carr could be less concerned about everybody else’s fault and
examine herself and try to be better.

L. COUNCIL COMMENTS
Mr. Crow said to Ms. Martin that in his mind her comments were the highlight of the evening. He
believed that she pointed a pathway home for Council and would be interested to see if folks
follow that path. Mr. Crow hoped that his colleagues would have conversations amongst
themselves about what would be the next step. He said by the actions of his colleagues tonight
showed that they are not ready to take the next step. Mr. Crow thanked Mr. Price for all of his time
and work.

Mayor Welsch mentioned a few calendar items.
