He con- <br />firmed Mr. Wagner's stat~mBnt that the FCC does not allow these towers to in- <br />terfere with reception; should it happen, it must be corrected immeliately. <br /> <br />Mr. Schoceer noted tb_is type of installation is not currently addressed in <br />the Zoning Code, but will be wb~_n the Code is revised. He did not object to <br />this installation, but wished to maks clear no prec~a__ent has been set. <br /> <br />In response to Mr. Price, Mr. Schmidt said studies demonstrate that radiation <br />eaqx~%~De f~u a tower ins~]laticn is well below set stardards, and local <br />measurenents show exposure level to be 20 times lower than set guidelines. <br /> <br />All voted Aye. <br /> <br />T~]~NIS ODURT RESURFACING BIDS <br /> <br />The City Manager said bids for resurfacing the four tennis courts at Kaufman <br />Park were received as follows: <br /> <br />St. Louis Paving, Inc. <br />Byrne and Jones Construction <br />Frazier-Davis Construction Co. <br />Straussner Tennis Court Builders <br /> <br />$ 6,600.00 <br /> 6,636.00 <br /> 6,895.00 <br /> 11,544.00 <br /> <br />Budget allocation for this project is $10,000. Acceptance of the $6,600 bid <br />from St. Louis Paving, Inc., was recka,mera~a. <br /> <br />Mr. Price moved approval.
