Delmar <br />and Kingsbury owners do not have to pay any assessments because they are getting no <br />improvements. Mr. Ollendorff stated that the only ones getting improvements and being <br />assessed are the 22 properties in the 6900 block of Washington. <br /> <br />Mr. Schoomer suggested to Mr. Ollendorff that the billing procedure be made more clear to <br />the recipients of the service. He will talk to him about it later. <br /> <br />AGENDA #2 - RESIDENTIAL PARKING PERMIT AREA FOR 7000-7034 LINDELL AVE.: <br /> <br />Mr. Ollendorff recommends that the City Council establish a residential parking permit area <br />including 7000/7001 to 7033/7034 from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m, everyday in <br />accordance with the petition completed in March 2000. The petition together with the <br />problem statement and documentation dated May 25, 1999 was reviewed by the Traffic <br />Commission with approval being recommended, The petition together with the earlier <br />documentation completes compliance with the City ordinance regulating residential parking <br />permit plans. <br /> <br />Mr. Wagner moved approval. Mr. Sharpe seconded the motion. <br /> <br />Responding to Mr. Lieberman, Mr. Ollendorff stated that "everyday" meant "seven days of <br />the week" and the signs will clearly represent this fact. <br /> <br />Mr. Wagner wanted to point out that the petitioner at 7031 Lindell asked not to have a <br />sign in front of her house. <br /> <br />The motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />AGENDA #3 - TAX EXEMPT ORGANIZATION SITE PLAN FOR 8631 DELMAR: <br /> <br />City ordinance requires site plan review and approval by City Council for purchase or <br />occupancy by a tax exempt organization. Lutheran Family & Children's Services of Missouri <br />plans to purchase the office building at 8631 Delmar and initially utilize two office units. <br />They plan eventually to occupy the building in its entirety. Approval is recommended since <br />all ordinance requirements are met. It does not appear that this ownership and occupancy <br />will increase public costs although it will certainly result in a reduction in public property <br />tax revenue. <br /> <br />Mr. Wagner moved approval. Mr. Munkel seconded the motion. <br /> <br /> <br />
