Session 1780 <br />April 17, 2000 <br /> <br />OATHS OF OFFICE - COUNCILMEMBERS: <br /> <br />At this time, Mayor Adams administered the oath of office to Councilmembers Lieberman, <br />Munkel and Sharpe, being newly re-elected at the April 4, 2000 general municipal election. <br /> <br />CALL TO ORDER OF MEETING: <br /> <br />At a regular meeting of the City Council of University City held in the Council Chambers of <br />City Hall on Monday, April 17, 2000, Mayor Joseph L. Adams called the meeting to order <br />at 7:45 p.m. In addition to the Mayor, the following members of the Council were present: <br /> <br />Ms. Cassandra Colquitt <br />Mr. Wayne Munkel <br />Mr. Larry Lieberman <br />Mr. Paul Schoomer <br />Mr. Arthur Sharpe, Jr. <br /> <br />EXCUSED: Councilmember Robert Wagner and City Clerk Leisha Meine. Also present was <br />Frank OElendorff. <br /> <br />REAPPOINTMENTS: <br /> <br />Mayor Adams moved the reappointments of Mr. John Pou and Mr. Peter Steuterman to the <br />Land Clearance for Redevelopment Authority for terms ending March 18, 2004. Mr. <br />Schoomer seconded the motion, which carried unanimously. <br /> <br />ACKNOWLEDGMENT OF ELECTION OF EMPLOYEE'S PENSION REP: <br /> <br />Mr. Schoomer moved approval of the recent election of Larry Evans as the new pension <br />representative to the Non-Uniformed Employee's Retirement Fund Board of Trustees for a <br />term ending July 1, 2004. Mr. Sharpe seconded the motion, which carried unanimously. <br /> <br />CITY MANAGER'S REPORTS: <br /> <br />AGENDA #1 - CONSENT CALENDAR (3 ITEMS): <br /> <br />#1 - Picnic Lieuor License: LooD Music ProEram: Mr. Ollendorff recommends approval for <br />a picnic license so that beer can be sold at the Loop/RFT Music Awards Program to be heed <br />on Leland at Delmar on May 7. This organization has received similar licenses in the past <br />and has always conducted the beer sales in a legal manner. Mr. Ollendorff stated that a <br /> <br /> <br />
