Session 1779
April 3, 2000

Responding to Mr. Munkel, Mr. Ollendorff reported that they make application for
Community Block Grant Funds in October each year. A list of projects is put together then,
and they would certainly consider this one. The City Council ultimately approves the list
which is made towards the end of October each year.

Mr. Wagner was interested in the City Manager's response that we do have a program that
would move emergencies to the head of the line. He also mentioned Mr. Ollendorff's
comment about the emergencies using most of the funds. This seems to be a good reason
to specifically address setting up an emergency repair program, in order to free up the
home repair program funds for bigger projects and longer range projects.

Responding to Mr. Sharpe, Mr. Ollendorff stated that Ms. Rome could come in and see him
tomorrow and he would set her up with an application for emergency funding.

ANNOUNCEMENTS:

Mayor Adams announced that tomorrow was Election Day and that everyone should get out
and vote.

Mayor Adams announced that the Photo/Sculpture series would open on April 9 at City
Hall.

ADJOURNMENT:

Mayor Adams adjourned the regular session at 8:25 p.m. and announced that the next
regular meeting would be held on the 17th of April at 7:30 p.m.

Leisha K. Meine, City Clerk
