Session 1787 <br /> <br />MINUTES OF THE UNIVERSITY CITY COUNCIL <br /> <br />June 19, 2000 <br /> <br />At a regular meeting of the City Council of University City held in the Council Chambers of <br />City Hall on Monday, June 19, 2000, Mayor Joseph L. Adams called the meeting to order <br />at 7:30 p.m. In addition to the Mayor, the following members of the Council were present: <br /> <br />Ms. Cassandra Colquitt <br />Mr. Wayne Munkel <br />Mr. Larry Lieberman <br />Mr. Paul Schoomer <br />Mr. Arthur Sharpe, Jr. <br /> <br />Also present was Deputy City Manager Gregory Rose. City Manager Frank Ollendorff and <br />Councilmember Robert Wagner were excused. <br /> <br />MINUTES: <br /> <br />Mr. Sharpe moved the approval of the regular session minutes from May 22, 2000. Mr. <br />Schoomer seconded the motion, which carried unanimously. <br /> <br />Mr. Munkel moved approval of the study session minutes from June 3, 2000. Mr. Sharpe <br />seconded the motion, which carried unanimously. <br /> <br />Mr. Schoomer moved approval of the regular session minutes from June 5, 2000. Mr. <br />Wagner seconded the motion, which carried unanimously. <br /> <br />APPOINTMENTS AND REAPPOINTMENTS: <br /> <br />Mr. Lieberman, on behalf of the absent Mr. Wagner, moved the appointment of Ms. <br />Elizabeth Proost, 7481 Washington Ave. to the Traffic Commission for an unexpired term <br />ending 01/21/03. Mr. Sharpe seconded the motion, which carried unanimously. <br /> <br />Mr. Lieberman moved the reappointment of Ms. Gwendolyn Gaines-Beckwith to the Library <br />Board for a term ending June 30, 2003. Mr. Schoomer seconded the motion, which <br />carried unanimously. <br /> <br /> <br />
