There shall be and there is hereby established a <br /> division of garbage in the Health Department of the City of > <br /> University City, which shell be administered and controlled by an <br /> inspector to be known as Supervisor of Sanitation, who shall be <br /> appointed by the Mayor and confirmed by a majority of the Board of <br /> Aldermen, and who shall work under orders of the Health Commissioner. <br /> Section 2. Said Supervisor of Sanitation shall reoeive as full <br /> compensation for his services the sum of One Hundred .anal Twenty-Five <br /> ($125.00) Dollars per month, payable at the end of each calendar <br /> month, and shall also furnish his own automobile , for which he shall <br /> be paid the sum of Twenty-Five Dollars ($25.00) per month. The <br /> said Supervisor of SanitaKon shall devote eight (8) hours per day, <br /> with the exception of Sundays and legal holidays, to the duties of <br /> his office. <br /> Section 30, It shall be the duty of the Supervisor of <br /> Sanitation to manage and supervise the collection of garbage and <br /> re u9e within the limits of the City of University City, and he shall <br /> collsot .spau, 'of <br /> said garbage in a water tight wagon boa with <br /> wood, `oanvas or other substantial sides and top, or a motor truck <br /> similarly constructed, so as to entirely obscure from viswr, while <br /> being oonweyed through the streets, all garbage , hotel and house <br /> offal, slaughter house offal, refuse, animal and vegetable matter, <br />
