Section 912.6. Bond required: Every private detective licensed under <br />the provisions of this article, and every operator employed by any detective agency <br />licensed hereunder, shall furnish bond to the city in the sum of two thousand dollars <br />conditioned upon the faithful perfomance of his work and the observance of all <br />ordinances of the city, laws of the State of Missouri and of the United States. <br />Such bond shall be for the use and benefit of the city and of any person or persons <br />who may have employed such licensee and been injured by the willful, malicious or <br />wrongful act of such licensee. <br /> <br /> Section 912.7. Revocation of license: The chief of police shall have <br />authority at such times as ha may deem necessary to inquire into the nature, charact- <br />er amd scope of the operations of any private detective or detective agency licensed <br />under the provisions of this article, and it shall be the duty of any such licensee <br />to furnish the chief of police any information with referen~to his or its business <br />as may be required. If it shall appear that the licensee is guilty of any violation <br />of the ordinances of the city or laws of the State of Missouri or the United States~ <br />or that such licensee is guilty of any wrongful or fraudulent act in the conduct of <br />his business, the city manager may revoke such license after giving a reasonable <br />notice to the licensee and affording him an opportunity to be heard. The licensee <br />may appeal to the city council from the decision of the city manager in case of the <br />revocation of his license, by written request therefor filed with the city clerk <br />within ten days after being notified by the city manaser of the revocation. <br /> <br /> Section 912.8. Penalty:' Any person, firm or corporation violating any of <br />the provisions of this article shall, upon conviction thereof, be subject to a <br />fine not exceeding the sum of five hundred dollars for each such violation. <br /> <br /> <br />
