Section 1. That the exercise in the City of University <br />City of the powers, functions and duties of a Land Clearance for <br />Redevelopment Authority be approved, and that such Authority be <br />and the same is hereby created, as provided by the laws of the State <br />of Missouri relating thereto. <br /> <br /> Section 2. That the Commissioners of said Authority be <br />appointed by the City Manager. Before entering upon his duties, <br />each Cou~nissioner of the Authority shall take, subscribe and file <br />with the City Clerk, an oath or affirmation as set forth in Section <br />111 of the University City Charter. <br /> <br /> Section ~.
