At such time as the LCRA makes a <br />determination that it desires to use its power of eminent <br />domain to acquire a parcel or parcels of real estate, the <br />LCRA shall notify in writing the governing body of Univer- <br />sity City of said intention. If said governing body does <br />not object to the LCRA's proposed action within thirty <br />(30> days of said written notice, the LCRA may exercise <br />its authority of eminent domain. <br /> <br />In connection with the urban renewal project, the LCRA may <br />in its discretion offer to a properly organized urban <br />redevel opment corporation which presents a plan for build- <br />ing rehabilitation and renovation conforming to the LCRA's <br />specifications and design standards some or all of the <br />benefits of limited tax abatement but not the use of the <br />power of eminent domain in accordance with Chapter 353 of <br />the ~li~:)ur~--~e~-is~ q+~t.+~ nf.197~- At qnck~_tim~ as <br />the LCRA makes a determination that it desires to grant <br />said tax abatement to an urban redevel opment corporation, <br />the LCRA shall notify in writing the University City <br />9overning body of said intention. If the governing body <br />does not object to the LCRA's written proposal within <br />thirty (30) days of receipt thereof, the LCRA may offer <br />the aforesaid tax abatement. <br /> <br />Section 2. The City Clerk is hereby directed to have this <br /> <br />in the office of the Recorder of Deeds of St. Louis County, <br /> <br />Section 3.
