2. The City reserves the right to approve the Company's <br />system design maps prior to commencement of construction <br />of the system or any portion thereof, consistent with <br />Section I of "Procedures for Performance Tests" attached <br />hereto as Appendix I, and incorporated herein by refer- <br />ence. Any time taken by the City or its agent in the <br />approval process beyond a total of sixty (60) calendar <br />days shall be added to the time allowed for the com- <br />pletion of the system specified in Section 2 of this <br />Article. <br /> <br />3~ Not later than thirty (30) days ~fter completion of <br />construction of the system, the Company shall undertake <br />all testing of the system necessary to assure that the <br />performance of the system is consistent with the <br />standards set forth in this Section. The Company shall <br />cooperate with the City and its agents to fulfill the <br />requirements set forth in "Procedures for Performance <br />Tests" attached hereto as Appendix I, and incorporated <br />herein by reference. <br /> <br />b) METHODS OF CONSTRUCTION, INSTALLATION, AND MAINTEMANCE <br /> <br />All of the Company's plants and equipment, including but not <br /> <br />limited to the antenna site, head-end and distribution system, towers~ house <br /> <br />connections, structures, poles, wire, cable, coaxial cable, fixtures and appur- <br /> <br />tenances shall be installed, located, erected, constructed, reconstructed, <br /> <br />replaced, removed, repaired, maintained and operated in accordance with good <br /> <br />engineering practices, performed by experienced maintenance and construction <br />personnel so as not to endanger or interfere with improvements the City may <br /> <br />deem proper to make, or to interfere in any manner with the rights of any pro- <br />perty owuer, or to unnecessarily hinder or obstruct pedestrian or vehicular <br />traffic on public or private property. All cables and wires shall be <br />installed, where possible, parallel to electric and telephone lines. Multiple <br />cable configurations shall be arranged in parallel and bundled with due respect <br />for engineering considerations. <br /> <br /> Any tower or antenna supporting structure constructed shall comply <br />with the standards contained in Structural Standards for Steel Antenna Support- <br />ing Structures, EIA Standards RS-222-A as published by the Engineering <br />Department of the ET~ctronic Industries Association, 2001 "I" Street, N.W., <br />Washington, D.C., 20006. Marking and lighting shall comply with Construction, <br />Marking and Lighting of Antenna Structure, 47 C.F.R. 17.1 et. seq., September, <br /> <br />1967. <br /> <br /> c) LOCATION <br /> <br />Construction of trunk feeder and drop cable shall be underground in <br />those areas of the City where existing telephone and electric services are both <br /> <br /> 19 <br /> <br /> <br />
